Dodger Stadium
I recommend using public transport if you can. Parking was a nightmare and super overpriced—took way longer than expected to get out after the game!
Definitely explore the different food options. I found some hidden gems like the taquitos at one of the stands. Don't just stick to the typical hot dogs!
Staples Center
Arrive at least 90 minutes early to soak up the vibe and grab merch. I was stuck in traffic and missed half the warmup which was a bummer.
If you're sitting up high, bring binoculars or use your phone to zoom in on the action. It really helped me get a better view!
Venice Beach Skatepark
Bring your own water and snacks. The local vendors can be pricey, and it's easy to get thirsty running around those ramps!
Plan for some downtime... I suggest soaking in the lively atmosphere; there are plenty of cool shops and street performers around the park, making it a great place to chill
Dockweiler Beach
Bring your own beach chairs and umbrellas if you can. Rental prices can add up quickly, and it’s more comfy when you have your own stuff. I regretted not bringing mine and ended up sitting on the sand
Pack a picnic! It's a great way to save money on food and enjoy the beach atmosphere. I found a nice spot and just relaxed while munching away instead of spending a lot at nearby cafes.
Sunset Ranch Hollywood
I highly recommend visiting early in the morning, around 9 AM. The weather is cooler, and you'll avoid the crowds that tend to show up later in the day.
Consider bringing a small backpack with water and snacks. There’s a short break during the ride where you can enjoy them, and it saves you from overpriced snacks later.
If you're not an experienced rider, choose the beginner-friendly tour. They really cater to your skill level and you'll feel more comfortable exploring the trails.
Sky Zone Trampoline Park
I suggest bringing some water and snacks if allowed. Food prices can be steep inside, and you might need a break after all that jumping. Trust me, I wish I had my granola bars!
The Little Bar
I suggest getting there before 7 PM on a weekday to snag some good seats since it fills up fast. Trust me, you don’t want to be stuck standing all night!
If you’re planning to play darts, bring your own darts. The house equipment is fine, but having your own just makes it feel more comfortable.
Windsports Hang Gliding
Don't forget to take a GoPro or ask if they have a video package. I passed on it and regretted not capturing that incredible view from above.
If you're feeling a bit nervous about the flight, arrive at least 30 minutes early. It gives you time to relax, chat with the instructors, and soak in the amazing views beforehand.
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
My advice is to bring a portable charger! There’s lots of great photo ops, and you don't want your phone dying before you capture the fun moments.
I recommend eating before you go. The food prices inside are pretty steep and the options are limited. A quick meal nearby can save you a good amount!
I suggest checking the event calendar in advance because some games and concerts can get super busy. I didn’t expect the rush and it took longer to get in than I thought.
You might want to wear comfy shoes! I ended up with sore feet from all the walking around – there’s a lot to explore outside the Coliseum!
Manhattan Beach
Check out the Manhattan Beach Pier during the sunset. The views are stunning and it's less crowded around 6 PM. You’ll get some great photos!
