Hollywood Bowl
TCL Chinese Theater
I recommend bringing a portable charger. I took a ton of pics, and my phone died right before the best part of my tour.
Greek Theatre
I recommend using public transport if you can; parking fees can add up, and finding a spot is a hassle. The Metro stops close to the theater make it super easy!
Make sure to grab merch before the show. I found myself running to the booth during intermission, and the lines were super long. Those cool tees go fast – don’t miss out!
Dolby
I recommend arriving at least an hour early to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the surrounding area. The view of the Hollywood sign from Dolby is gorgeous, and you don’t want to miss it!
My advice is to take a moment to explore the Dolby Theater itself – the decor is stunning! Don't rush to your seat, because the lobby is part of the experience. I almost missed that!
I suggest looking for discount tickets online before you go; I saved quite a bit that way. Next time, I’ll also keep an eye out for special events, as those can take the experience to a whole new level!
Romantix
Check their calendar in advance for special events or themed nights. I stumbled upon one that made my experience way more fun!
When visiting, don't forget to explore the area a bit. There are some cool shops and eateries nearby that are worth checking out, especially if you have time before or after the show.
If you're planning to catch a late-night show, aim for the 10 PM slot. It tends to be less crowded, and the atmosphere is more relaxed.
I found that grabbing a drink at the nearby bar before heading in helps set the mood. Plus, it saves you from overpriced drinks inside!
Tiki Adult Theatre
My advice is to bring a light jacket. The theater can get a bit chilly, and you don’t want to be distracted by the cold during the show.
I think you should bring cash for snacks and drinks. They have some cool options, but I found out they only take cash, which was a bit of a hassle for me
I suggest checking the showtimes online before you go. Some screenings can get really crowded, so you might want to hit the earlier shows, like around 6 PM, for a better seat.
The Montalban
If you're planning to grab a bite, look for deals on local food apps or check out nearby restaurants before heading to The Montalban for better prices.
I suggest checking out any special events beforehand. They sometimes have live performances or screenings that can make your experience much cooler.
