Seaworld San Diego

Consider getting the Quick Queue pass if you plan to do a lot of rides. It’s pricier, but I found it worth it to skip long lines during the busy afternoon

Don’t forget to download the SeaWorld app. It has maps, show times, and even mobile ordering for food, which made things way smoother for me.

After the animal encounters, head towards the back of the park to avoid crowds. The earlier rush can really clear out, making it easier to enjoy the rides and see less crowded exhibits.

I recommend checking the schedule for animal shows as soon as you enter. Some of the most popular ones fill up fast, and it’s a bummer missing them!
Torrey Pines Golf Courses

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The prices at the clubhouse can be pretty steep, so save some cash and enjoy a picnic on the course instead.

I recommend checking the wind conditions before you play. It can get super windy, especially on the back nine, so adjust your game accordingly!

I think taking a few minutes to explore the surrounding nature trails is worth it. They're stunning and give you a nice break between rounds. Plus, no extra cost!
Torrey Pines Gliderport

Dress in layers! The weather can change pretty quickly up there. I was freezing in the morning but ended up too hot by noon, so something light but warm is perfect for switching up!
Petco Park

Take a stroll around the park it’s not just for baseball! There are cool art installations and beautiful views of the city. I didn't realize this until I wandered around after the game.

If you're looking to save some bucks, buy your tickets in advance online. I scored a great deal and avoided the long lines at the ticket booth.

I suggest finding a seat in the outfield. The views are awesome, and the tickets are usually cheaper. Plus, you might catch a home run ball.

I think it's smart to arrive around 5PM if you're going on a game night. The atmosphere is buzzing, and you can grab a drink before the game starts
Belmont Park

Definitely grab a meal at the Beach House. The views are killer and the prices are better than some of the other spots around. I had a burger that was super tasty!

Don't miss the arcade games! They have some cool vintage ones that took me back to my childhood. I think you could easily spend an hour or two just having fun in there.

My advice is to park in the public lot a few blocks away instead of the pricey spots right by the entrance. It’s a short walk and saved us at least $20!

Check the weather before you go. We ended up getting a little rain, and it was chilly by the ocean. I suggest bringing a light jacket just in case, you'd thank yourself later.
La Hoya Cove

Take a moment to just chill at the tide pools. They’re stunning and way less crowded. Great photo ops, plus you might spot some cool sea creatures!
Bring your own snacks. I found that food options near the cove are pricey and can be pretty crowded. Pack a picnic and eat with a view!

If you're into diving, check out the sea caves, but make sure you rent gear from a local shop beforehand to save some cash. Rental prices are pretty steep near the beach.

Go early! I recommend hitting La Jolla Cove around 8 AM to avoid the crowds and snag the best parking spots. Trust me, it gets super busy by 10 AM.
Admiral Baker Golf Course

My advice is to rent clubs instead of bringing your own if you're flying in. It saved me a ton of hassle, and the rental prices were actually pretty reasonable.

I suggest getting there around 7 AM to beat the crowds – trust me, it makes a huge difference for getting a spot! Plus, the morning chill before the sun gets too hot is awesome.
I think checking their online booking system is a must! I didn’t, and ended up waiting longer than I wanted. It’s way easier to snag a tee time in advance.
Pacific Coast Skydiving

Make sure to wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes. You'll be changing gear and you don’t want to be fumbling with flip-flops before you jump!

The safety briefing can feel a bit long, but it's crucial. Pay close attention to it; I think it really helps ease the nerves right before you take the leap!

Try to book your dive in the early morning around 8 AM; the weather is usually clearer and it's less crowded, meaning shorter waiting times
Aquatica San Diego

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks if you can. The food inside can add up quickly and the place allows outside food for those with dietary needs
San Diego Sky Tours

Book your flight during the sunset for the best views and stunning pictures – it's totally worth it! I did, and the colors were magical.

Check if they have any promotional deals or combo packages online before booking; I saved some cash this way!
