Lookout
If you're looking for a chill vibe, visit on a Sunday afternoon. It was less crowded, and I got to chat with some awesome locals.
Check out their happy hour specials! I saved a ton on drinks by arriving around 5 PM when the deals kick in.
440 Castro
I suggest checking out happy hour from 5 to 7 PM for great drink deals. I saved some cash this way and the atmosphere is super fun!
Wild Side West
if you plan to visit on a friday or saturday, try to get there a bit before 10 pm. the vibe is great, and you won't have to wait too long for a drink. i had my drink in hand within 5 mins, it was awesome!
I suggest checking out their happy hour from 5-7 PM. The drinks are much cheaper then, and you can grab a bite to eat at the same time. Plus, it’s less crowded!
Kilowatt Bar
I think bringing some friends is a great idea, especially for a fun darts competition. The more, the merrier, and you can split the cost of drinks!
My advice is to try the happy hour specials from 5 to 7 PM—they're a steal and the drink options are solid.
Jolene’s
If you're keen on live music, check the schedule ahead of time. I missed an amazing show because I didn't know it was happening that night. Bummer!
Yancy's Saloon
Hole In the Wall Saloon
I think it's best to arrive a bit earlier – around 6 PM on weekends – to snag a good spot. It gets super packed later on.
Moby Dick
I suggest hitting Moby Dick during happy hour from 5 to 7 PM; the drink specials are really worth it and save you some cash! Plus, there's a great vibe before it fills up.
Cinch Saloon
I suggest checking out the events calendar online before you go. I missed a drag show that sounded amazing, and I was bummed. Doin' a little prep can really enhance your experience!
