Watch out for the wildlife! I saw a bunch of cute deer but one crossed the path unexpectedly. Take it slow on the roads just in case!

Definitely wear layers. The weather can change super quickly, so I suggest starting out in a light jacket and having a sweater handy. I froze once because I didn't.

If you want the best views, head to Battery Spencer around sunset. The golden light hitting the Golden Gate Bridge was totally worth it!

I highly recommend hitting Lands End right around sunrise. The views are breathtaking and you’ll avoid the crowds that roll in later in the day. Amazing photo ops too!
