I recommend visiting towards the end of the day, around 4 PM. The light was stunning for photos and the crowds had really thinned out.

my advice is to bring a packed lunch. there's limited snack options at the center, and you'll want to enjoy the outside views while you eat

I suggest checking out their website for any scheduled events or workshops before you go. I missed a cool talk on local wildlife because I didn't know about it!

I suggest wearing layers, as the weather can change unexpectedly. It was chilly in the morning but warmed up quickly, and I ended up overheating later on.
