Larimer Square

If you're a coffee lover like me, stop by one of the local cafes, but I'd advise going early in the morning when they have fresh pastries—so worth it!

You might want to check for street festivals or events happening when you visit. I missed out on one by a week, and it sounded really fun with live music and local vendors

I think taking a quick detour down the side streets leads to some hidden gems. I stumbled upon a cute gallery that wasn’t mentioned in the major guidebooks.
International Church of Cannabis

I suggest visiting on a weekday morning if you want a quieter experience – it gets pretty crowded on weekends. I went on a Thursday around 10 AM, and it was way more peaceful.

If you're not into cannabis, don't worry! There's no pressure to partake; just enjoy the art and the vibe. I was a little nervous about this at first, but it was chill.

Check out the calendar for special events before you go! I missed a live performance that sounded amazing because I didn’t plan ahead. So bummed!

My advice is to grab some snacks before you arrive. There’s no food available onsite, and I got kind of hungry looking around all that interesting stuff.
Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception

I recommend visiting around 10 AM to avoid the crowds. I went in the afternoon and it was packed. You'll get better photos and a more peaceful experience early in the day
Colorado State Capitol

Check out the free tours offered; they fill up fast! I got lucky and squeezed into one at 1 PM, which definitely made my visit way more informative and enjoyable. Trust me, paying attention to the guide's stories adds so much to the experience.
