Busch Gardens

I suggest bringing your own snacks or lunch. The food inside is pricey, and I found some great shaded spots to munch on my sandwiches.

I recommend getting to the park right before it opens at 10 AM. The first hour is great for hitting popular rides like SheiKra without long waits!

I think it's worth buying the quick queue pass if you're planning on hitting a lot of rides—it saved me so much time! Just don’t buy it last min, I learned that the hard way.

Do NOT underestimate the heat! I thought I'd be fine, but the sun can be brutal. Bring a refillable water bottle and fill it at the many stations around the park.
Tampa Bay Grand Prix

My advice is to check for any deals on their website or social media. I saved a bit on tickets by grabbing a promo code I found online. Definitely worth it!

I recommend bringing your own snacks or drinks. The food there is a bit pricey, and I ended up really regretting that $6 bottle of water when I saw a vending machine outside with way better prices.

I think it's super helpful to wear comfortable clothes, especially if you plan to race a few times. Trust me, you'll want to be comfy in the kart. No one wants to race with tight jeans.
Skatepark of Tampa
If you’re looking to meet other skaters, hang around the mini-ramp area later in the afternoon. That’s when everyone seems to show up, and it’s a great vibe.

Don’t forget to charge your phone before you go! There are some sick spots for photos and you'll want to capture the action. I missed some awesome shots because my battery died!
Amalie Arena

I suggest you get to Amalie Arena at least an hour early. It can get pretty crowded, and you'll want time to grab some food and find your seat without rushing.

Food inside the arena was ok but a bit overpriced. I think it’s better to eat before you arrive or bring some snacks if you can.

If you're planning to grab a drink or two, grab them before the game starts. The lines can be crazy during intermissions, and you don't want to miss any action

I highly recommend using the digital ticket app they have. It saved me time not having to print anything. Just show your phone to get in.
Pin Chasers

Don't forget to bring socks if you want to rent shoes! I saw a ton of people scrambling to buy a pair at the front counter, which is a bummer

i recommend checking out their special deals on weekdays especially on tuesdays when the bowling prices drop. it really saved us some cash!

If you're planning to grab food, go for the appetizers. They were surprisingly good! I suggest sharing a few instead of getting entrees; it'll save you money and let you try more dishes.

Try to book your lane in advance, especially on weekends. We had to wait longer than expected because it was super busy when we arrived.
The Skatepark of Tampa

I think it's smart to go on a weekday if you can. The weekend gets super busy and finding a spot to skate or chill can be tough when everyone shows up.

My advice is to bring a few snacks and water if you're planning to stay a while. The food options nearby can get pricey, and you don't wanna interrupt your skate flow searching for a bite.

I recommend checking out the schedule for events or competitions before you go. Sometimes they're packed and you might miss some cool action if you go on a quiet day
Grand Prix Tampa

Try to visit during the week if you can. The track was way less crowded on a Tuesday afternoon, which let me lap faster and have more fun!

Don't forget to wear closed-toe shoes. I wore sandals and had to borrow shoes, which was a bit awkward. Just a little thing that can save you some hassle!

Make sure to book your karting session online in advance to avoid the long wait, especially on weekends. I waited over an hour on Saturday, and it was a bit frustrating.

Check for any deals or promotions before you go. I saved a good amount by finding a Groupon – definitely worth a look!
Brewlands Bar & Billiards Carrollwood

I recommend checking their happy hour specials—some drinks are half off! It's a great way to save money and try different cocktails.

I think the dartboards can get crowded, so try to play on a weeknight. It’s less chaotic and you’ll have more fun enjoying the vibe.

If you’re into billiards, try to snag a table early on the weekends. It gets busy fast, and by 7 PM, you might be waiting a while.

I suggest bringing cash for tips, as some staff prefer it. You'll get better service and won't have to deal with card processing delays
Adventure Island

My advice is to buy your tickets online ahead of time. You'll save a few bucks, and that line at the gate can be crazy long!

I suggest hitting the park right when it opens at 10 AM. The crowds are much lighter then, so you can enjoy rides without waiting forever.

I think bringing a cooler with snacks and drinks can save you a ton of money. The food prices inside are a bit steep, and you'll get hungry quickly after all the action.

If you're planning to stay the whole day, pack a change of dry clothes. I didn't, and walking around in wet swimsuits wasn't too comfy after a few hours!
Water Works Park

I suggest bringing your own water bottles; they have refill stations around the park, which will save you a chunk of change on drinks. Plus, it's super refreshing to stay hydrated in the Florida sun!

Definitely take some time to explore the gardens and picnic areas; they’re beautiful. I wish I had set aside more time for relaxing instead of just rushing to the rides.

Try to visit right when they open at 10 AM or just after lunch around 1 PM. It can get crowded, and those times let you enjoy the rides without long lines.
