Tampa Theatre

Don't forget to explore the lobby and the cool architecture. I almost skipped it thinking it was just a theater. Turns out it's such a charming space with tons of character and history!

My advice is to eat dinner before the show at a nearby restaurant, like the Columbia Café. It's super close, and you won't have to deal with long concession lines if you're hungry beforehand.

I recommend checking out the movie schedule in advance! Some classic films are screened, and they often sell out. I missed out on a great showing, so plan ahead to grab your tickets.

I think parking can be a pain, so look for street parking or the nearby garage ahead of time. I wasted about 20 mins circling the block. Use parking apps for better options!
The Playhouse Theater

My advice is to arrive at least 30 minutes early. The seating isn’t assigned and it gets crowded quick, especially on weekends! You don’t want to miss a thing.
Hot Flixx
I recommend checking their website for any specials or events happening the night you plan to visit. This can save you some cash on entry fees or even drinks. I found a happy hour deal that was pretty sweet!

If you're planning to go on a weekend try to arrive around 8 PM. The crowd was lighter and we snagged awesome seats. I went on a Friday at 10 PM before and it was super packed!
Adult World

I recommend bringing cash for quicker transactions at the bar. I noticed it was a bit slower when folks were using cards, and it can add to wait times if you're parched!
Glazer Children's Museum

Be ready for some floor activities! I didn't expect to get as involved, but the kids loved it. Just wear comfy clothes so you can join in without worrying about getting a bit messy.

I suggest getting there right when it opens at 10 AM to beat the crowds. It'll make a huge difference, trust me. The climbing area gets super busy later on.
Tres Equis Inc

My advice is to buy your tickets online in advance; I got stuck in a long line at the door and wasted time I could have spent inside... Plus, some nights might even offer early bird discounts!

I suggest checking for any special themed nights before you go. Those can really amp up the fun and make your experience unique. I missed out on a vampire night that sounded super cool.
Wat Mongkolratanaram

If you're looking to take pictures, go around 11 AM when the sunlight hits the pagoda nicely. Just be careful of the angle, some spots can be tricky!

I recommend trying the Thai food after your visit. It's super affordable and delicious, but make sure to bring cash since they don’t take cards

I suggest visiting on a Sunday morning around 10 AM. The atmosphere is beautiful with the chanting, and you can avoid the crowds who come for lunch later.
Thee Love Shack

I recommend going on a weekday if you can; it’s way less crowded and you get a better experience. I went on a Friday and it was packed which kinda took away from the vibe.
My advice is to check out the drink specials when you arrive... I found out too late that they had a happy hour from 6-8 PM, and I could have saved some cash
Xtreme Book & Video

I recommend visiting in the afternoon, around 3 PM, when it's less crowded and you can really browse without feeling rushed. It made my experience much more enjoyable!

my advice is to check for any special events or screenings online beforehand. i found out about a unique showing last minute and it was worth it, but i wish i’d known sooner.
Tampa Bay History Center

If you plan on getting snacks or drinks, check out the café before heading into the exhibits. It’s a little pricey, but the patio views are totally worth it!
