Santa Fe Railard Park
Cross of the Martyrs

I recommend bringing some water and snacks. There’s not much around, and you’ll want to relax at the top with a little picnic - trust me, it makes it feel like a mini adventure!

I suggest visiting early in the morning, around 8 AM. The views are stunning and the trails are less crowded, so you can enjoy it peacefully.

If you're looking to save time, use the back entrance from the nearby park; it’s way less busy and gets you right to the top quicker!
Fort Marsy Park

If you're planning to check out the Burning of Zozobra, get there early in the day to score a good spot... Last year was super crowded, and the vibe wasn't as family-friendly as it should be, so arriving early helps avoid the chaos

For a chill visit, I suggest going to the park in the evening. The views are amazing, and it’s nice and quiet, especially if you grab some coffee before heading up. Plus, you might spot some cute rabbits and lizards!
Santa Fe Botanical Garden

My advice is to check for any special events or workshops before you go. I stumbled upon a great art installation one weekend, and it really made my visit unique. Just make sure to plan ahead to catch those features!

I suggest visiting in the morning around 9 AM when it opens. The gardens are way less crowded, and the plants look fresh with the morning light. Plus, you'll have the best chance to chat with the staff who are super knowledgeable!
