Biltmore Estate Winery
I think it’s smart to bring a picnic if you're planning to stay for a while. The estate is beautiful, and eating outside can save you $$ compared to the restaurants.
I recommend buying a wine and food pairing ticket if you're a foodie. It's a bit more money, but the experience really enhances the tasting. Totally worth it!
I suggest checking out the winery's schedule before you go; they often have complimentary tastings or special events that aren't advertised widely. It’s a nice surprise!
Highland Brewing Company
I found the self-guided tours super cool, but they can get crowded! Go on a weekday around 2 PM for a more relaxed vibe and less waiting.
Make sure to arrive early if you want a good spot on the patio. The views are amazing, especially at sunset! I arrived at 4 PM and it was already packed outside.
My advice is to check the events calendar before you go. They often have live music or special tastings that really enhance the experience – I almost missed a great band!
LaZoom Tours
Get there at least 15 minutes early so you can grab a good seat on the bus. Trust me, sitting up front adds to the fun!
