Top Nature in Asheville

I found the animal displays really interesting, but some of them are easily missed if you don't keep an eye on the map. Make sure to grab one when you enter! It definitely helps you plan your route better.

I think renting a bike is a must! The path around the park is beautiful and riding lets you cover more ground. Just watch out for some steep inclines; it's a workout!

I suggest checking out the schedule for local events before you go. We stumbled on a small music fest which made our visit way more enjoyable and I wish I had known about it beforehand.

If you're on a budget, pack a picnic! There are plenty of lovely spots to spread out and enjoy your food without spending a dime at nearby cafes. Trust me, it’s way more relaxing!

If you can, visit on a weekday around 10 AM. We found it way less crowded and more peaceful to stroll through the beautiful trails without dodging a ton of people.

check out the gift shop before you leave. i totally missed it until the end, and they have some cute local items that would make great souvenirs!
