Ryman Auditorium

I suggest you buy your tickets online in advance... That's what I did and I skipped the long lines at the box office... Honestly, it was such a time saver!

Bring a light jacket or sweater, even in summer! The auditorium can get a bit chilly, and I found myself wishing I had thrown on an extra layer

I recommend checking out their gift shop. They have some cool memorabilia that isn't overpriced. I picked up a neat t-shirt for way less than I expected!

If you're planning on catching a show, try to visit on a weekday. I went on a Saturday and it was crowded, making it tough to enjoy the atmosphere fully.
Honky Tonk Highway

Start your night around 6 PM to avoid the crowds. The music is just as good, but the atmosphere is way more chill before it gets packed later.

I suggest checking out smaller venues off the main strip. They often have local artists playing without the large crowd, so you can really soak in the vibe.

If you want the best view of the live bands, head up to the rooftop bars. Just make sure you get there early—sitting spots fill up fast!

Look out for happy hour specials on drinks. I found a pub with half-priced beers from 4-6 PM. Really helped my budget!
Belle Mead Plantation

I recommend getting the audio guide; it really enhanced the experience for me. I found out so much more about the history compared to just walking around!

I think bringing snacks is a good idea, as the café had limited options and could get busy. Grab a bite beforehand to keep your energy up while exploring!
John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge

I think taking a walk all the way to the other end of the bridge is a must. You get some great views of the river and have the chance to take some unique photos. Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

My advice is to bring some snacks or even a picnic. There's plenty of places to sit and chill, so making a little event out of your visit can save you money instead of eating out.
Sri Ganesha Temple

I suggest checking out the temple during the early morning around 9 AM; it's way less crowded then and you can soak in the peace and beauty. The light is pretty amazing for photos too!

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes! The temple has a lot of walking areas, and if you want to explore everything, you won’t wanna be hurting by the end.
Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge

I think packing some comfy shoes is a must. The area has a nice walking path, and I regretted wearing flip-flops after just a short stroll!

You should bring a picnic and enjoy it on the nearby picnic tables. The view is stunning, and trust me, it’s way cheaper than eating at a restaurant!
Nashville Park Public Square

I suggest checking out the park in the morning, like around 9 AM, when it's less crowded. It gives you a chill vibe to enjoy the architecture without fighting through crowds.

i think taking a few minutes to walk around the park is a must. i missed some neat angles and details of the buildings. don’t just snap and go; explore a bit!

My advice is to pack some snacks. There aren't many affordable food options nearby and I ended up spending way too much on lunch. Bring your own and save some cash
Belmont Mansion
Tennessee State Capitol
my advice is to grab a free self-guided tour brochure at the entrance. it gives you cool insights and historical tidbits that you might miss otherwise. i totally enjoyed the extra info!

I suggest visiting the Capitol in the morning around 9 AM. It's way less crowded then, so you can snap great photos without tons of people in the way. Trust me, it makes a huge difference!
Parthenon and Statue of Athena

I suggest going in the morning around 9 AM. There's way fewer people, and you can really enjoy the sculptures without the crowds buzzing around. Plus, the light for pics is awesome
