American Family Field

I recommend wearing comfy shoes. You're gonna walk a lot, and the concourses can get crowded, especially before game time.

I suggest getting to the stadium at least an hour before the game. This way, you can soak in the atmosphere, grab some food, and find your seat without rush

Don’t buy food inside the stadium until you’ve checked out the local spots nearby. I found a great BBQ joint a few blocks away that’s much cheaper and delicious.

My advice is to bring a refillable water bottle. They have stations to fill up, and it saves you from spending $5 on a bottle inside!
Milwaukee Public Market

Don’t skip the tasting samples! Many stall owners offer free samples, and it's a great way to try out stuff before you buy. I discovered my new favorite cheese this way.

Try to pace yourself and share dishes if you can. There’s so much delicious food to try, and portion sizes can be big. Sharing allows you to sample more without overdoing it.

Bring cash for small purchases... A few vendors only take cash, and you might snag a better deal if you have it on hand

I recommend going on a weekday if you can. It gets really crowded on weekends, especially during lunch, and you'll have a harder time exploring the stalls
Basilica of Saint Josaphat

I recommend going on a weekday rather than the weekend to avoid crowds. I visited on a Tuesday morning and had the place almost to myself!

don't miss the stunning mosaics inside! i suggest spending at least 30 minutes just taking in the intricate details, even if you think you've seen it all before.
St. Joan of Arc Chapel

When you're there, take a moment to check out the beautiful stained glass windows. I think it’s best to spend some time just sitting in the chapel. It's so tranquil and definitely worth it!

I really enjoyed visiting the chapel, but I recommend going on a weekday, especially around 10 AM. It was much less crowded then – I got to really soak in the peaceful vibe without the rush.

If you're driving, my advice is to park at the nearby university lot instead of trying to find street parking. It saves you time, and it's a short walk to the chapel!
North Point Lighthouse

Try to visit during the weekday morning, like around 10 AM. The crowd is way lighter, and you can really soak in the beauty without feeling rushed

Check out the small gift shop before you leave! They have unique lighthouse-themed souvenirs that you won't find anywhere else, and they're reasonably priced.
Daniel W. Hoan Memorial Bridge
Check out the nearby parks before or after your visit. They're great for a quick stroll and to relax a bit. I didn’t realize how close they were, and I missed out on that part!

Parking can be tricky, so I suggest using a ride-sharing service if you're staying nearby. It saved me a ton of time searching for a spot, plus it’s usually pretty affordable.

If you can, visit around sunset! The view is absolutely stunning and the lighting makes for amazing photos. Bring a camera! I wish I had spent more time just soaking it all in.
The Milwaukee County War Memorial

I suggest checking out their events calendar before you go. Sometimes they have special exhibitions or ceremonies that are super interesting, and you don't wanna miss out on something cool happening while you're there.
Milwaukee Riverwalk District

I suggest checking out the Riverwalk in the early morning, around 8 am, when it's super quiet and just beautiful. You'll get the best photos without all the crowds!

If you're planning to grab a bite, I recommend heading to the local taco truck by the bridge for some delish bites—way cheaper than most sit-down places and honestly, way better too!
Milwaukee Pierhead Lighthouse

My advice is to check the weather before you go. It can get pretty windy by the lake, so dress in layers. I wasn't prepared and got pretty chilly!

I think the best time to visit is around sunset. The views of the lighthouse with the colors of the sky are absolutely stunning. Just make sure to bring your camera
Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church

Definitely check their website for any community events or festivals happening during your visit. I stumbled upon a Greek festival which was a fantastic addition to my experience!

I suggest visiting on a weekday morning when it's less crowded; you'll get better photos of the stunning architecture without a ton of people around. Plus, you can really soak in the peaceful atmosphere
