Keep an eye on the time if you want to catch the guided tours. They only happen at set times and I missed one because I lost track of time exploring!

I suggest wearing comfortable shoes. There’s a lot of walking, and the marble floors can be a bit slippery. I almost took a spill!

Check the gardens outside—there’s something special about the floral displays. I nearly missed them, and they added a lovely touch to my visit!

If you can, visit right when it opens at 7:30 AM. The morning light is stunning and the crowds are way smaller, giving you some nice photo ops!
Cathedral of Our Lady of Saigon

Take a moment to sit on the steps and soak it all in. I rushed through on my first visit, but chillin' there with a drink really connected me to the vibe of the place

Don’t just snap photos outside! The interior is beautiful too, but if you visit during mass, be respectful and don’t take pictures. I learned that the hard way!

Go early in the morning, around 7:30 AM. It’s less crowded, and the light is perfect for photos. I got my best shots then, plus it felt really peaceful!

Check the weather before visiting. Rain can really mess up your photos and plans. I got caught in a shower, and it slightly ruined my experience.
Buu Long Pagoda

I recommend visiting early in the morning around 7 AM. The sunlight hits the pagoda beautifully and it’s way less crowded so you can soak in the vibe without interruptions

Wear comfortable shoes! The pathways can be a bit uneven, and you’ll want to walk around and explore various pagodas without tiring yourself out too quickly.
Ngoc Hoang Pagoda
Tan Dinh Church

An Dong Market

I suggest hitting the market early around 8 AM to avoid the crowds and snag the best deals. It gets super busy later on and you might miss out on some goodies.

if you're looking for souvenirs, head to the back of the market. there are some hidden gems there that are not overpriced like the front stalls.

I recommend checking out the food stalls – I had the best pho there! But don't eat too much too fast, it can get a bit spicy for some.
Giac Lam Buddhist Temple

Dress modestly, and be sure to wear comfortable shoes since there’s a lot of walking. Trust me, the beautiful grounds are worth exploring!

Check out the little street vendors nearby for some affordable and tasty snacks after your visit. It’s a nice way to wrap up the experience!

Try to visit around 9 AM to avoid the crowds, it gets pretty busy later in the day and you’ll want some quiet time to soak in the atmosphere.
If you plan on taking photos, the early morning light is fantastic, plus you won’t have to dodge too many people in your shots!
Tan Dinh Market

Don’t miss the Pink Church nearby! It’s a stunning photo spot and a great break from the market chaos. I almost overlooked it!
If you find a dish you love, take a picture of it. I learned the hard way that trying to describe it later can be tricky.

Check out the food stalls early, around 9 AM, when everything is fresh and less crowded. The later you go, the busier it gets!
