Heap Tunnels
Dam Shen Park

The lake area is gorgeous, but the benches fill up fast, especially on weekends. I suggest bringing a lightweight blanket to relax on the grass instead; it worked well for us!

Check the weather before you go; rain can really put a damper on your plans. I got caught in a downpour, and it took some fun out of the experience. A poncho can save your day!

Don't skip the little attractions scattered throughout the park. They can be quite charming and less crowded. I stumbled upon a cool art installation that wasn't in any guide I saw!

Bring a portable charger! I found myself snapping a ton of photos, and my phone battery drained quicker than I expected. Keeping it charged means you won't miss any moments.
Zoo and Botanical Garden
Watch out for the monkeys! They’re super playful but might try to steal your things if you're not careful. I lost a sandwich to one!

I suggest wearing comfy shoes. There’s a lot of walking, and some paths were uneven, which made it harder to enjoy the scenery.

Make sure to bring some snacks! The food inside was a bit pricey, and having a small picnic in the garden was a lovely experience.
Turtle Lake
Rin Rin Park

If you're planning on enjoying some snacks, bring your own picnic! The park has some small vendors, but prices can be a bit higher... I packed some food and it made our visit more relaxing and budget-friendly
I suggest visiting Rin Rin Park early in the morning, around 7 AM, when it's nice and peaceful, perfect for photos and a morning stroll. The crowd builds up later in the day, and you’ll miss that serene vibe.
