National Museum of Fine Arts

My advice is to grab a map at the entrance. It’s easy to lose track of sections, and you don't want to miss the hidden gems!

Check out the smaller rooms first—they often have amazing pieces that are overlooked by most visitors. I was pleasantly surprised!

I suggest visiting during the lunchtime, around 1 PM, when it's less crowded. You’ll have more space to enjoy the artworks without the rush.

If you’re into art history, I recommend doing a little research on the key artists featured. Knowing their stories made my visit way more enriching!
Museum of Latin American Art

Check out the schedule for temporary exhibits. I found a mind-blowing installation that was only there for a limited time during my visit!

Try to go on a Wednesday; it’s free entry! Such a great way to save some cash and experience the art without the crowd.

Wear comfy shoes! You might end up wandering more than you planned, and there's a lot to see in this beautiful space.
La Plata Museum

Make sure to check out the planetarium inside the museum. I almost skipped it, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of my visit. Just remember to grab your tickets for the shows early.

If you’re planning to bring kids, they’ll love the interactive exhibits. I think spending a little extra time in those areas will keep them entertained and you won’t have to rush through everything else.

Don’t stress too much about the entrance fee. I thought it was a little costly at first, but trust me, it’s worth every peso for the collections you get to see. Just enjoy the experience!
Bernardino Rivadavia Argentine Museum of Natural Sciences

If you're short on time, focus on the dinosaur exhibits. They are super impressive and the highlight of the museum, trust me!

My advice is to wear comfortable shoes. The place is huge and you’ll be doing a lot of walking, and I definitely regretted my choice of footwear.

Bring your own water bottle. There are not many places to grab a drink inside, and you'll want to stay hydrated while exploring

If you have kids, let them take part in the scavenger hunt that's sometimes available. They had an absolute blast trying to find all the items!
River Plate Museum

If you're a fan of River Plate, check the schedule to see if there's a match day; the atmosphere around the museum is electric then!

If you're into photography, the best light is in the late afternoon. The stadium views look incredible during that time!

Don't skip the souvenir shop. They have some unique merch that you won't find elsewhere in Buenos Aires, and it's reasonably priced.
ARA Presidente Sarmiento
Cabildo of Buenos Aires

I recommend checking the museum's free entry days! I went on a Monday and it saved me the entrance fee. Plus, it wasn't crowded at all!

My advice is to grab a map of the area from the info desk. There are a lot of nearby attractions, and I missed a couple that were just a short walk away!

Try to visit around 3 PM... I found it to be less busy and I could take my time exploring without feeling rushed by crowds

i suggest bringing a water bottle. there aren't many places to sit and relax, and it gets kinda hot when you're wandering around.
Abasto Children's Museum

I recommend bringing a small bag with some art supplies. The craft areas can get packed and you’ll want to make the most of your time!

I think it’s smart to spend some time exploring the gift shop at the end. I found some cool educational toys, and they weren’t overpriced!

Definitely check their website for any special events or promotions before you go; I found out about a free admission day, which was a total win!

My advice is to check out the live shows if you can; they’re super engaging for the kids. It was a highlight of the trip for us!
The Tigre Club

I think it's worth bringing a picnic if you enjoy eating by the water. The views are stunning, and it can save you some cash on food.

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. There's a lot to explore, and the last thing you want is sore feet ruining your day.

If you're into art, don’t miss the local galleries nearby. They often have free or low-cost exhibitions that are so worth your time.

I suggest checking if there are any special events or exhibitions before you go. I stumbled upon a fantastic artisan market that made my visit even better.
