D’Arenberg
Josef Chromy Wines
If you're planning to visit on the weekend, I suggest arriving around 11 AM. The tastings are less crowded, and you can truly enjoy the wines without being rushed.
I recommend keeping an eye out for their seasonal events. I stumbled upon a fantastic food and wine pairing event that was super worth it!
When you're sampling their wines, my advice is to take notes. It helped me remember which ones I liked best, especially since I tried so many!
Don't forget to check out their cheese platter! I think it's a must-try, but maybe share one to save a few bucks. It’s quite filling!
Jacobs Creek Visitor Centre
My advice is to save money by buying a bottle or two after tasting instead of just having drinks there. Trust me, they'll taste even better at home!
Bring a few snacks along! I wished I had done this because while they offer tastings, food options can be limited and pricey.
Vasse Felix
my advice is to do the wine tasting before lunch. we did it after and i ended up not enjoying my meal as much, since i was a bit tipsy and couldn’t appreciate the flavors the same way!
I think you should defintely check out the art gallery onsite. It’s a nice surprise and adds a whole new layer to the experience. Plus, it’s free with your tasting ticket!
De Bortoli
Penfolds Magill Estate Cellar Door
Lancaster Wines
I recommend booking your tasting in advance, especially on weekends. I thought it would be easy to walk in, but it got pretty busy! You want to snag a good spot.
