South Coast Park

I think you should explore the walking trails, but download a map first. I got a bit lost and missed some beautiful spots.

My advice is to check the weather before you go. I went on a cloudy day, and it wasn't super enjoyable. A sunny day really makes the beach pop!
Hyde Park
Make sure to check out the free events calendar. I stumbled upon a yoga session that was seriously refreshing and saved me on gym fees for the day!
Centennial Park

I recommend checking out the park's event schedule before you go. I stumbled upon a live music event, and it really made my day! They often have free events, so it's worth looking into.
Royal National Park
Bicentennial Park

my advice is to bring a picnic and some snacks; the grassy areas are great for relaxing. plus, it's way cheaper than eating at a cafe there!

I think checking the events calendar before you go is smart. I missed a cool outdoor movie night because I didn’t know it was happening!

I recommend taking a bike if you can; it makes getting around the whole park way easier and lets you see more in less time! Just check for bike rental places nearby.

If you want to avoid the crowds, try arriving around 9 AM on weekdays. The morning light is also perfect for pictures!
Barangaroo Reserve

Check out the Barangaroo's Cultural Space. It’s free and showcases indigenous culture, which I found really enriching and a great way to spend an hour!
Check the weather before you head out! I got caught in a surprise rain shower, and it kind of ruined my plans to stroll around. Bring an umbrella just in case!

I recommend bringing some snacks from home or a cheap cafe. Food prices in the area can be a bit steep, and there's great picnic spots to chill!
Australian Reptile Park

My advice is to pack your own lunch or snacks. The food inside is a bit pricey, and there’s a lovely picnic area where you can chill and eat your own stuff.

I suggest wearing comfortable shoes. You’ll be doing a lot of walking, and trust me, you don’t want to be dealing with sore feet halfway through your visit
Observatory Hill Park
Birrarung Marr
Daintree National Park

My advice is to download a good map app before you go. Cell service is spotty, and I got lost trying to find hidden trails. Having a map saved me tons of time.

I think visiting on a weekday is way better than weekends. The park was way less crowded, and I had a more peaceful experience enjoying the nature. Trust me, it makes a huge difference!

I suggest bringing some snacks and water with you. It's more affordable than buying at local shops, plus it keeps you energized while exploring! I underestimated how much I’d need during hikes.
