Prater

Try to visit during weekdays, especially in the morning around 10 AM. It’s way less crowded, and you can hit the rides without waiting forever.

I suggest getting the Prater Vienna card if you plan to try multiple rides. It saves you some bucks, trust me!

Keep an eye out for special events or discounts; sometimes they offer family passes that cut costs significantly.
The Wiener Riesenrad
Familypark Neusiedlersee

Use the Familypark app for your visit. It has a map and schedules of events that helped me save time wandering around trying to figure out what to do next.

Buy your tickets online to save a couple of euros. You can skip the ticket line and hit the rides first thing, which is a total game changer.

I suggest bringing water shoes if you want to enjoy the water play areas. The ground can get really hot and no one wants to deal with burning feet!
Hexenwasser Soll
Prater Turm

I recommend checking out the combo tickets for rides. They saved me a ton of cash compared to buying individual tickets, especially if you plan to try multiple attractions.

I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can. The lines are way shorter and you won't feel rushed. I went on a Saturday and it was pretty packed!

Bring your own snacks! Food inside can be pricey and not the best. I wish I had packed a sandwich instead of spending money on mediocre fries.
Area 47

if you're thinking about renting a cabana, go for it! it’s so worth it for the shade and a spot to chill. i skipped it thinking i'd be fine, but i ended up feeling burnt out and sunburned!

Definitely try out the high diving board - it was the highlight of my day! But take a buddy to hold your stuff while you climb up; I learned the hard way when I had to juggle my phone.

Pack your own snacks and drinks if you can! The food prices inside are pretty steep. I spent way more than I wanted just for a hot dog and a drink.
