Look for combo tickets if you plan on visiting other attractions in Vienna. I saved some money that way. It was a surprise for me how many discounts were available!

I suggest eating before you go. The food inside the palace cafe was a bit pricey and not as good as I expected. Instead, I grabbed a snack from a bakery nearby and saved some cash.

Definitely go early, like around 8:00 AM... The crowds are way thinner, and you'll get better photos without people photobombing you... I wish I had done this!

My advice is to grab the audio guide. It’s not expensive and really enhances the experience. You’ll get tons of interesting info that you can’t find anywhere else. It made everything more enjoyable for me!

Get there right when it opens at 9 AM to avoid the crowds. I did this and had a much better experience wandering around without feeling rushed.

Take a stroll through the beautiful gardens afterward. It’s a great way to unwind and it's free – I almost skipped them but was glad I didn't!

Consider booking your tickets online in advance. I saved some cash and time by skipping the long ticket line.

I suggest checking out the audio guide. It adds so much context to the exhibits. I found some hidden gems I would have missed otherwise.

Plan for at least three hours. I thought I'd be done in two, but there's so much to see, especially the dinosaur exhibits. I ended up rushing through the last part!

Visit on a weekday if you can; it gets super crowded on weekends and holidays. I went on a Tuesday and had a much more relaxed experience.
Check out their temporary exhibits ahead of time. I missed one that I really wanted to see because I didn't know about it. It can be a game-changer for your visit.

I think grabbing a snack at the cafe inside is worth it... The views while you eat are fantastic and it’s a nice break before you go back to exploring

Don't forget to take advantage of the free audio guides. They offer cool insights about the art that you might miss otherwise. It helped me a ton.

Museum of Art History

I suggest you spend some time in the museum cafe. The coffee and pastries are a nice break. Plus, you can relax and recharge for more exploring!

Honestly, check the museum's website for any special exhibitions before you go. I didn't, and I found out about a Van Gogh exhibit happening right after my visit—total bummer!

Plan to take a break and hit the gift shop! They have cool art books and unique souvenirs. I spent way more than I planned, but I don't regret any of it.

If you're into the finer things, don't miss the Egyptian collection. I think it’s often overlooked, but there are some amazing artifacts that really blew my mind.

Mozart's Birthplace

I suggest downloading the audio guide on your phone. It was super helpful and way more informative than the printed material. Plus, it’s free!

Consider buying a combined ticket for Mozart's Birthplace and the Residence. It saved me a few euros and I got to see more of his history which was awsome.

You might wanna visit during the morning, around 9 AM. It was way less crowded, and I could really take my time looking at everything without being rushed.
