If you're planning to visit on a weekend, I recommend you get there by 11 AM. The outdoor seating fills up fast, and you'll want a nice spot to enjoy the view.
Mayer am Nussberg
If you want to avoid the crowds, try visiting on a weekday around 3 PM. I went on a Saturday and it was packed! You’ll have more space to enjoy the wine and the views.
I recommend wearing comfy shoes. The paths can be a bit uneven, and I stumbled a few times—definitely not ideal while wine tasting!
Heuriger Wolff
I think you should ask the staff about the seasonal dishes. I tried one on a whim, and it turned out to be the best dish of the night!
Hermenegild Mang Winery
Schlumberger Cellar Worlds
Schauer Winery
Muller's Heuriger & Weingut
I suggest getting a table outside if the weather's nice. The atmosphere is so much better, and I think it really adds to the experience!
I recommend trying the Zweigelt wine, it’s a real hidden gem that they serve. It was a standout for me during my visit
Weinbau & Buschenschank Schirnhofer
My advice is to check their social media for any special events or offers. They sometimes have themed tastings that are a blast!
If you enjoy local snacks, definitely try their cheese plate. It was a great match with their wines and totally worth the price!
Heuriger Herrgott from Sta
Edlmoser Vineyard & Winery
I recommend trying their house-made snacks with the wine. It wasn't super pricey and really complemented the flavors. Don't skip it!
If you're looking to save some cash, check their social media for any promo codes. I found out about a discount for our tasting through a post just before we went!
