MAS Museum

Don't miss the rooftop view! I think it’s one of the best parts of the museum, so make sure to go up there after checking out some exhibits.

If you can, visit on a Wednesday or Thursday. The crowds are way lighter, and you can really take your time exploring without feeling rushed.

I found the audio guides a bit of a miss. If you're up for it, just read the signs—it's way quicker and you won’t miss anything important.
Royal Palace
Don’t miss the changing of the guard ceremony at 2:30 PM, but get there early for a good spot! It was super interesting, but we were a bit far back. Just a little patience pays off!

I recommend visiting on a weekday if possible, the crowds are way thinner and you'll have better access to those stunning views. My experience was a lot more relaxed than the weekend rush!
I think the audio guide is totally worth it. It immerses you in the rich history much more than just wandering around. I almost skipped it and would’ve regretted it big time!
Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences

Make sure to wear comfy shoes! You’ll be walking and standing a lot, especially if you want to explore every corner of the museum. I learned that the hard way!

Don’t forget to check out the special exhibitions! I almost missed the gem and mineral display which was really cool. They can change often, so ask when you arrive.

If you're planning on seeing the dinosaur gallery, definitely save that for the end. It's super popular and the queue can take forever—trust me!
I suggest taking the tram instead of driving; parking can be a hassle and it's really easy to reach. Plus, it gives you some time to relax!
The Bastogne War Museum

I think the audio guides were totally worth the extra couple of euros. They give you a lot of cool insights that you wouldn't get otherwise.

My advice is to grab a quick bite at the café before you go inside. The museum doesn't have dining facilities, and the last thing you want is to be hungry while touring!

If you're really into history, I'd suggest allowing at least 3 hours for your visit. I underestimated it and felt rushed trying to get through everything!

If you can, I suggest booking your tickets online. It saved me some time at the entrance since the line was pretty long when I got there.
Royal Museums of Fine Arts

if you're into art, do yourself a favor and get the combo ticket. it saves a bit of money, and you can explore different museums without extra fees!

I suggest visiting on a Wednesday afternoon; it's less crowded and you can enjoy the art without feeling rushed. Trust me, it's a game-changer!

My advice is to download the museum app. It has awesome info on the pieces and can give you a cool audio guide, plus you won't have to carry a bulky guidebook around!
The In Flanders' Fields Museum

Make sure to grab a bite at the cafe before you leave. Their local specialties were a pleasant surprise and fairly priced, unlike other places nearby!

Check out the audio guide! It really added depth to the exhibits, and I thought it was worth the extra few euros. Don't miss it!
I suggest booking your tickets online in advance. It saved me a ton of time at the entrance, and you can often find some discounts online too
Rubens House

I recommend visiting on a weekday morning around 9:30 am to beat the weekend crowds... I went on a Saturday and it was a bit packed, which made it hard to enjoy the artwork

If you’re into history, take your time and read the info plaques. I rushed through and ended up missing some great backstories on the pieces.
Train World

I think you should grab a bite at the café inside before hitting the exhibits... The food is pretty decent and it’ll save you time instead of searching for a place outside afterward

I suggest checking out the special exhibitions before heading to the main exhibits; they often have unique displays that aren't listed in the general info. Those were the highlights for me!

If you're on a budget, look for combo tickets when you buy your entrance! They offer discounts when you pair Train World with other attractions nearby; I wish I knew that before my visit!

My advice is to make use of the interactive displays. They make learning about the history of trains way more fun and engaging. Trust me, you'll spend more time here and it’s totally worth it!
Museum of Musical Instruments
The Magritte Museum
I recommend visiting on a Wednesday afternoon around 3 PM. It was way less crowded then, and I had a better look at the art without anyone bumping into me.

Make sure to spend some time in the smaller galleries too. I almost missed them thinking they were unimportant, but they have some hidden gems!

My advice is to buy your tickets online to skip the long lines at the entrance. I didn't do this, and I felt like I wasted about 30 minutes waiting.
