I recommend planning your meals around 1 PM to avoid long restaurant waits. We had to eat at 3 PM and it was a bit tougher finding a table.

I think checking the weather in advance is key—if they’re predicting heavy snow, go early! The powder is just amazing, but the crowds can be overwhelming later.
Strbacki Buk

If you’re planning on hiking around, wear sturdy shoes. I found the trails a bit slippery. Proper footwear would save you some slips!

Bring a picnic! There are beautiful spots near the waterfalls, and food stalls can be pricey. Enjoy your meal with a view!

I suggest visiting during the early morning around 8 AM. The light on the waterfalls is amazing, and you'll avoid the larger crowds later in the day. Trust me, it's worth it!
STENS

Bring your own paddles if you can. I used their paddles and they were okay, but a bit worn out. Having your own feels way better, trust me!
Tennis Center ADA
Horse Riding Club Visoko

If you're a beginner, I recommend signing up for a lesson instead of a casual ride. You'll learn way more and get more comfortable around the horses.

Don't forget your own snacks and water! There aren't many places close by, and I wished I had something to munch on during breaks.

Bring some cash. They prefer cash payments, and I ended up searching for an ATM nearby. Just a little heads up to save you some hassle!
Blidinje Ski Resort

If you’re a beginner, I recommend taking a lesson right away... I thought I could wing it, but the instructors really helped me get the hang of it faster than I expected

Try to visit mid-week if you can! The slopes were way less crowded on Tuesday and Wednesday, which made for a much more fun and relaxing ski experience.
Ski-Centar Radusa

If you're planning to rent equipment, I suggest doing it online ahead of time. This can save you a chunk of cash and the hassle of a long wait in line. I didn't, and I regretted it!

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The on-site food can be pricey and not all that great. I packed a small backpack and enjoyed little breaks without spending a fortune on the slopes.
