Joaquina Beach

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. Beachside cafes can be pricey and while the food is great it's nice to save some cash and munch on what you love.

I recommend hitting the beach early, around 7 AM, to snag a good spot and enjoy the sunrise. It gets crowded fast, and the morning vibe is just unbeatable!
Thermas dos Laranjais
Porto de Galinhas

Grab a local guide on the beach - they know the best spots for swimming and can even help you find areas without crowds. I met this guy who brought us to the perfect reef!
Bargain for everything! Prices were pretty high for tourists but I got a killer deal on a beach umbrella just by asking nicely and haggling a bit.

Watch the tides! Some areas are shallow and great for swimming during high tide but not so much during low. I didn’t check and ended up walking a lot further!

I recommend getting to the beach by 8 AM before it gets too hot and packed. You'll have the best sunrise views and some peace for swimming.
Beach Park

Bring your own snacks if you can. The food inside is ok, but it’s pretty pricey for what you get. Plus, you’ll definitely work up an appetite.

I suggest you buy your tickets online in advance. It saves some bucks and the entry line is way shorter!

I recommend checking the weather before you go. If it looks iffy, you might want to reschedule for a sunny day to fully enjoy it.

If you want a good spot to relax, hit the Lazy River early. By noon it’s usually packed and you’ll have to fight for a float!
Hot Park

If you're planning to stay for the whole day, consider getting the all-day pass with lunch included. It saved me a bit of money.

I suggest getting there right when it opens at 10 AM to beat the crowds! It makes a world of difference, trust me.
Top Marine
Port of Rio Grande

I suggest grabbing some local snacks from a market before heading out on the water. It's a cheap way to enjoy some good eats, I didn't do this and regretted it later.
Joatinga Beach

When you get to the beach, look for the easier path to walk down. I tried a rocky shortcut which made me lose balance and almost fall! Stick to the main trail—it’s way safer.

Don't forget your sunscreen! The sun can be really intense, especially in the afternoon. I regretted not applying more after a couple of hours. My back was sore the next day.

I recommend staying till sunset; the views are incredible. I took some photos and they turned out amazing. It’s a perfect way to end your day there
Iguazu Falls - Brazil
Eco Parque Arraial

Don’t skip the lazy river! It’s a nice way to relax between rides, and I found it surprisingly refreshing after all the excitement.

Wear water shoes. Some surfaces can get slippery, and they really saved my feet from getting sore while walking around.

Plan to arrive right when the park opens at 10 AM. This way you can hit the most popular attractions before the lines get crazy
