I think bringing a pair of binoculars could really enhance the experience. I didn’t think about it, but some views from up top are just breathtaking and worth a closer look.

If you're on a budget, consider taking the metro to the closest station and then a bus. My taxi ride cost more than expected, and the bus is way cheaper and just as convenient.

Pack a light snack and some water! The prices at the little shops around there can be outrageous. I regret paying $5 for a bottle!
My advice is to visit during the week, ideally on a Tuesday or Wednesday, to avoid the crowds. I went on a Saturday, and it felt like I was in a sardine can!
Rafain Churrascaria Show
Museum of Tomorrow

Bring a water bottle, but make sure it's not glass. They have refill stations, which helped me stay hydrated without spending money on drinks inside.
Try to get your tickets online in advance to skip the lines – I did that and saved a ton of time!

Don't miss the rooftop viewing area! The sunset view over the bay is stunning and totally worth the visit.

If you can, visit on a weekday morning. It was way less crowded then, and I could enjoy the exhibits without feeling rushed.

If you're planning to visit, I recommend checking their website for free admission days. I went on a Sunday and it was packed but totally worth it!

I suggest going on a weekday morning. I got in right when they opened at 10 AM, and it was much quieter to enjoy the exhibits without feeling rushed.

Don't forget to bring a water bottle. There’s a cafe inside, but I found the prices a bit steep. A quick sip helped me enjoy the art more!
The Oscar Niemeyer Museum
If you're into photography, try to arrive around 4 p.m. The lighting is beautiful then, and you can catch some great shots without a lot of crowds. I wish I had done this!

Bring some snacks or a packed lunch! The cafe has limited options, and they can be a bit overpriced. I paid way too much for a sandwich. Pack your own goodies!

Don't forget to explore the outdoor areas too! The views of the museum's unique architecture against the sky are stunning. I kinda missed this part, and regretted it.

I recommend visiting on a weekday if you can; weekends can get packed and you might find yourself waiting in line for tickets. I went on a Thursday, and it was much quieter.
Marche Public de Florianopolis

If you're a foodie like me, don’t skip the fresh seafood stalls! I tried a delicious grilled octopus that was to die for. Don’t hesitate to ask vendors about their daily specials too - they often have hidden gems.

Plan for lunch here! The food court has a ton of options, but I recommend the pastel de feira. Grab it and enjoy it with a cold coconut water while you soak in the atmosphere
Visit during weekdays if you can. Saturdays can get super crowded, and you'll spend more time dodging people than enjoying the market vibe. I went on a Tuesday and it felt more relaxed.

Keep an eye out for the local craft stands. I found some amazing handmade souvenirs that were much more affordable than in touristy shops. It’s a great way to support local artisans.
Catavento Museum

Make sure to check out the schedule for live demonstrations. They’re super interactive and really enhance the experience! I almost missed one and it was a highlight for me
Get there by 9 AM when it opens to beat the crowds. I arrived later and it felt packed. More space means more fun exploring the exhibits.

If you're traveling with kids, have them wear comfortable shoes. There’s a lot of walking, and trust me, you don’t want a meltdown halfway through!

Don't skip the cafe inside! While it's a bit more expensive than eating outside, the snacks were worth it for a quick energy boost. Plus, it's a nice spot to rest.
Municipal Theatre of Rio de Janeiro
Imperial Museum in Petropolis

I recommend visiting on weekdays if possible. It's less crowded, so you can enjoy the displays without feeling rushed or jostled by other visitors.

If you're planning to explore the gardens, give yourself an extra hour. They’re beautiful but a bit underappreciated by most visitors, and it's a nice place to unwind.

Consider dressing in layers. The interior can get a bit chilly, especially in the afternoon, but you might be warm outside.

Don't miss the museum's cafe! The coffee was surprisingly good and reasonably priced; perfect for a quick recharge during your visit.
Pinacoteca Sao Paulo

If you're into art photography, I totally suggest walking around the exterior of the building. It's stunning! The sunlight really bring the architecture to life.

My advice is to check out the temporary exhibits first because they tend to change and are often really great! I almost missed one that was awesome.
