Honestly, I found the entrance fee a bit high for non-Brazilians. Make sure to check online for any discounts or combo tickets to save some cash.

I think you should carry plenty of water and snacks. There are areas where you're miles away from any food stalls, and trust me, you'll get hungry after all that hiking!

I recommend visiting between 6 AM and 8 AM for the best light for photos and way less crowds. It really makes a difference!

My advice is to rent a 4x4 vehicle. The roads can get pretty rough, and a good car saves you time and gives you more freedom to explore.

If you can, take a guided tour! I went solo, and while I enjoyed it, having a guide would have deepened the experience since they share cool info.

Arrive by 8 AM for the best chance to see wildlife. It gets pretty hot and crowded later, plus, early morning vibes are just magical

Wear good shoes! I made the mistake of wearing flip flops and regretted it halfway through the trails. It's super uneven in places.

Check the weather before you go. I went on a cloudy day, and it wasn’t as pretty for pictures. A clear day is way better!

I highly recommend visiting in the off-season around May or September. The trails are less crowded and you can enjoy the beauty without feeling rushed plus it can save you some cash on accommodations

I suggest downloading offline maps before you go, because cell service can get spotty in some areas... It'll save you from getting lost and wasting time trying to find your way back

If you're planning to hike to the waterfalls, my advice is to bring snacks and plenty of water. I ran out halfway and regretted not packing more food!

You should def try the local food stalls around the lagoon, but my advice is to skip the tourist traps near the main entrance. You’ll save money and get better food!

If you're into nature, bring binoculars for birdwatching. I didn’t think about it at first and I missed some cool birds. Just grab a pair!

Make sure to bring cash. Some of the food vendors don’t take cards, and you don’t wanna miss out on that delicious açaí bowl! I learned this the hard way.
