Parks Places Map
Parks in Brazil:
Ibirapuera Park
lastly wear comfortable shoes! you’ll be doing a lot of walking and the park is huge. trust me sore feet are not the best souvenir from your trip.
Lago Negro
Check for food trucks near the entrance. The one I tried had amazing local snacks at half the price of the cafes inside! My advice is to plan a picnic instead of eating at the restaurants.
Park Lage
Check out the café for snacks—some reviews said it was overpriced, but I thought the cakes were delicious!
Tijuca Forest
wear good shoes, but also think about your socks. i went with cotton ones and ended up with blisters. go for moisture-wicking to avoid that.
For stunning views, hike to the Vista Chinesa. It's a bit of a climb, but that view is totally worth it. I was wowed when I got there!
Lensois-Maranienses National Park
I recommend bringing cash, especially for local food stalls and activities. Some places don't take cards, and you'll miss out on delicious snacks if you’re not prepared!
Corrego Grande Municipal Park
Wear good walking shoes! The trails can be a bit uneven, and I slipped a couple of times because I wore sandals that weren't the best for hiking.
Chapada dos Veadeyrus
If you're planning to hike to the waterfalls, my advice is to bring snacks and plenty of water. I ran out halfway and regretted not packing more food!
