I suggest getting a local guide, it makes a huge difference navigating those trails and spotting wildlife. I paid a few extra bucks, but it was worth it!

Don't skip carrying extra snacks and water; some treks are longer than expected. I ran out of both and it wasn't fun!

My advice is to visit during the dry season, around November to February. The trails are much easier to navigate, and you’ll see more wildlife out and about.
