I recommend booking your flight in advance, especially in peak season. I didn’t and ended up missing out on a great time slot!
My advice is to check the weather before you go. Flight cancellations happen if it gets bumpy up there. I didn’t want to miss my day, so I kept an eye on the forecast!
If you can, try to get a seat in the front of the plane for the best views. I sat at the back, and I think the pictures would’ve been way better at the front!

I suggest bringing a light jacket, even if it seems warm on the ground. It gets chilly up there, and you won't want to miss out on enjoying the view just because you're uncomfortable!
I recommend booking your flight early in the morning, like around 8 AM. The skies are usually clearer, and you get to see the beautiful sunrise over the glaciers! Trust me, it makes for stunning photos.
