Niagara Speedway Go Karts

plan to stay for at least 2-3 hours if you want to do multiple races. i tried to squeeze it into an hour and ended up wishing i had more time!

If you can, visit during the weekdays, especially in the morning; you’ll avoid the crowds and spend less time waiting. I went on a Saturday, and it was packed!

Don’t forget to wear closed-toe shoes; I saw some people turned away for wearing flip-flops. Trust me, you’ll want to be comfortable while racing!

If racing for the first time, I suggest doing some practice laps before hitting the fast lane. They let you have fun, but you'll want a little warm-up!
Niagara Speedway

Bring your own gloves. You can rent them there, but it’s a bit pricey and actually kinda dirty. My advice is, better safe than sorry!

Check the weather beforehand. It was a bit rainy when we went, which makes the track a lot more slippery and unpredictable. I think I preferred the sunny days for more fun!

I suggest going on a weekday if you can. We went on Saturday and the lines were super long. We wasted a lot of time just waiting to get onto the track.

If you have a GoPro or something similar, take it with you! I didn’t, and I regretted not capturing the experience while racing – the track is a blast!
Mosport International Raceway

If you're planning to eat there, bring some snacks and drinks. The food prices can be a bit high and lines can get long during events. I saved a bunch by just packing my own stuff.

Try to score tickets online before heading out. I waited until I got there, and the prices were a bit higher. Lesson learned, booking online was way easier.

Check the schedule in advance for practice sessions. I went on a random day, and it was mostly quiet. If I had known, I would have at least planned it around a race day for more excitement.
Whistler ATV Bushwacker Tour

Bring a camera. The views are absolutely stunning and you’ll want to capture those moments. Just make sure it’s secured while riding, though

Definitely wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. I made the mistake of wearing shorts and ended up a bit scratched up from the brush. You’ll appreciate the extra protection!

Don't forget to apply sunscreen! Even if it looks cloudy, those UV rays can sneak up on you, and you'll be out there for a while
K1 Speed Toronto

I suggest booking your race times online in advance to avoid long wait times, especially on weekends. It made a huge difference for us!

Try to arrive around 10-11 AM on a Saturday. It was way less crowded, and we got to race without the massive lines that formed later!

Don't skip the practice lap! I thought it was optional, but it helped me get a feel for the track and improve my time during the actual race.
Niagara Go-Karts

Try the double karts if you're with someone. It's an awesome way to enjoy the experience together, and the added fun is worth it!
Speeders Electric Prokarts

I think the best time to visit is on weekdays around 2 PM... It's way less crowded, so you can race without the wait... Weekend evenings are a zoo!

If you plan to race multiple times, look for package deals. I found that buying a multi-race package saved me a few bucks compared to single races.
Gopher Dunes

If you're planning to rent bikes, book in advance to save some cash and ensure you get what you want. I didn’t and ended up with a not-so-great ride.

I recommend checking the weather before you go. It got pretty muddy when I was there after a rain, which made the trails a bit tricky. Dry days are the best!
Smart Riding Adventures

If you're on a budget, look for combo packages that include gear rental. Those saved me a bundle and kept me comfortable while riding!

I suggest planning a half-day trip instead of just a couple of hours. You'll want more time to explore and enjoy the trails without feeling rushed!

Bring your own snacks and drinks! The café on-site can be a bit pricey, and I regretted not packing something tasty for the ride.

I recommend booking your ride in advance, especially on weekends. They get packed, and you don’t want to miss out on your dream bike or ATV because you waited too long.
Fast Track Indoor Karting

I suggest wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a bit sweaty in. It's super fun but also pretty intense, and you'll want to be comfortable in the kart!

I think getting the timing down is key. If you can, race on a weekday or during non-peak hours. We went on a Saturday and had to wait quite a bit

I recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early. It gives you time to sign the waiver and get fitted for the helmets and suits without feeling rushed. Plus, you might snag some extra practice laps if you're lucky!

My advice is to check if there are any discount days or special promotions online before you go. I saved a good chunk by timing my visit right!
