Toronto Climbing Academy

I suggest visiting on a weekday afternoon. The crowds are much smaller, so you’ll have more space and time to enjoy climbing.

Bring your own climbing shoes if you can! Rental prices add up fast and the quality can be hit or miss.
Mountain Skills Academy and Adventures

I recommend packing some snacks and water. You’ll want to stay energized during your adventure, and there’s no guarantee of food nearby!
I suggest booking your classes in advance, especially during peak seasons. I waited too long and missed out on some of the best slots!
Roc et Glace Escalade

I recommend booking your rental gear online in advance. I saved a bunch of time and avoided the hassle of long lines when I got there. Trust me, you'll want to hit the ice as soon as you arrive!

My advice is to wear multiple layers. The weather can change pretty quickly, and I found myself too hot in the sun but freezing in the shade. Better to be comfy and ready for anything!
Revelstoke Alpine School
Pinecrest Stables
Canada West Mountain School

I think it's best to arrive around 8 AM to avoid the crowds and get the best experience. The morning light is fantastic for photos too, so you’ll enjoy the views even more.

My advice is to look for package deals online in advance. I saved some cash by booking my climbing package ahead of time instead of paying on the spot; it was totally worth it!
