Be prepared for some stairs; wear comfy shoes. I found that moving through the castle was easier when I was dressed for walking.

If you're planning to grab a bite, head to the café before 2 PM. After that, it gets very busy, and the line can be long!

I recommend wearing comfy shoes! The castle and gardens are beautiful, but you'll do a lot of walking and some areas have uneven paths.
