Be prepared for some stairs; wear comfy shoes. I found that moving through the castle was easier when I was dressed for walking.

Be sure to explore the outdoor exhibits too! I almost missed them thinking it was just inside. They offer some great photo ops, especially during sunset. So, don’t rush your visit!

I totally recommend buying tickets online before you go! It saved me from waiting in that long line and got me straight into the fun. Plus, sometimes they have discounts online too!

I think packing a light lunch is a great idea. The museum's cafe is kinda pricey for what you get. I ended up spending a bit more than I wanted on snacks, so come prepared!

My advice is to check out the schedule for the shows before you go. We missed a cool science show because we didn’t plan ahead, and it was a bummer!

If you're thinking about food, eat at the Triple Os inside. There’s plenty of seating and the prices aren't too bad, plus they have some kid-friendly options!

If you can, try to visit on a weekday morning, around 9 AM, when it’s not too crowded. I went on a Saturday, and it felt a bit hectic with kids everywhere!
