I recommend grabbing a seat on the upper deck of the boat for the best views and to avoid any obstructed views from the crowd.

My advice is to wear a poncho, even if it’s not that sunny. I thought I wouldn’t get wet, but the mist is no joke!

Pro tip: After the cruise, take a walk along the Queen Victoria Park... It's free and has stellar views of the falls, plus it's less crowded than the boat area

Old Montreal Port
Casa Loma

Make sure to take photos in the Conservatory; it's super picturesque and one of the best spots in the whole castle.

If you're planning to grab a bite, head to the café before 2 PM. After that, it gets very busy, and the line can be long!

I recommend visiting on a weekday, especially before noon. It's way less crowded, and you can explore at your own pace without bumping into too many people

Don't miss the gardens—take some time to stroll around outside if the weather's nice. They’re beautiful and give you a nice break from indoor exploring.

Saint Lawrence Market

If you're a foodie, arrive on a Saturday morning. The market is buzzin' with fresh vendors and special events. Don't miss the farmers' market in the North Market - it's a real experience.

Look for combo deals or tastings. I stumbled upon a couple of stands that offered samples if you bought something, which saved me a few bucks while exploring.

Ask locals for recommendations; I tried a sandwich that a friendly vendor suggested and it was the best bite of the day! Totally worth stepping out of my comfort zone.

Bring cash, especially for the smaller vendors! Some of them don’t accept cards and I regretted not having a bit more on me to try more goodies.
