CN Tower
The Ship & Anchor

I think you should definitely grab some food; their nachos are awesome! Just be warned - they can take a bit longer to come out, especially when it's busy.

I suggest coming on a weekday if you can, like Tuesday or Wednesday, to avoid the huge weekend crowds. You'll have a better shot at getting a dart board and a chill atmosphere.

My advice is to try their house beers if you're looking to save a few bucks. They often have some great local brews on special, and you'll get a taste of Calgary's craft scene.

I recommend checking out their event schedule; they sometimes host live music or darts tournaments. I had a blast during a spontaneous event last time.
Skylon Tower

Don’t forget your camera. The photo ops are amazing, but be mindful of your surroundings since it can get crowded near the edges.

Definitely get your tickets online before you go. I saved a bunch of time skipping the line at the entrance by doing this!

Try to visit around sunset; the views are absolutely breathtaking and you can catch both day and night scenes of the falls.

If you're on a budget, consider grabbing a coffee or snack in the gift shop area instead of dining at the full restaurant. It's still a good view without the high price!
Mission Hill Family Estate
I suggest doing the wine tasting around 3 PM to avoid the crowds. The earlier tours can get pretty packed, and you want to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
Restaurant Orange Julep

Definitely try the orange julep drink—it's a signature item! I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's super refreshing and life-changing. You won't regret it!

Don't skip dessert! I thought I was too full, but the desserts are mini-sized and perfect to share. They’re a fantastic way to end your meal.

Check the daily specials when you arrive! I scored a great deal on a combo that wasn't even listed online; it saved me a few bucks
Cassis Monna & Filles
Rabbi Vineyard Estate Winery

You might want to ask about the history of the vineyard during your visit. I did, and it really added to the experience. I felt more connected to the place!

My advice is to go on a weekday, especially around 2 PM. The crowds are way smaller and you can enjoy the experience more without feeling rushed.

I recommend bringing some snacks to enjoy with your wine. The selection is great, but having some cheese or crackers made it even better. Plus, it stretches out the tasting.
Bear & Kilt Freehouse
Rivoli

I suggest trying to visit on weekdays if you can. It’s way less crowded, and you can snag a pool table without the long wait times. I had to wait quite a bit on a busy weekend.

My advice is to bring a group. The more, the merrier! It makes the games more fun and you're more likely to get a table right away. Solo play can be lonely here.

If you’re going for billiards, bring your own cue if you have one! The house cues can be hit or miss, and I wished I’d brought mine for better shots.
Pig and Duke

I recommend checking out their happy hour from 3-6 PM for some killer drink deals. I saved quite a bit during my visit!
I think the poutine is a must-try! It's super tasty and filling, plus it won't break the bank – trust me, you won't regret it!
Make sure to grab a spot for darts early if you want to play. It gets pretty crowded and you might end up waiting for a table!

My advice is to ask the staff for game recommendations; they are super friendly and helped me pick some fun ones that really made my night.
