If you’re tight on time, skip the indoor exhibits first and head straight to the outdoor ones. They are way more impressive and are less crowded early in the day, around 10 AM.
If you can, use public transport to get there. Parking is a pain and expensive. The bus service is great and saves you from the hassle of finding a spot.
I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks. The food options can get pricey and the quality isn't the best. You'll enjoy your day more without breaking the bank on lunch.
Definitely check out the feeding sessions! I thought they were just for kids but I ended up loving them. It’s a great way to see the animals up close and the staff is super informative.

Don’t forget to visit the gift shop on your way out! I found some really unique souvenirs that I didn’t see anywhere else in the city - major bragging rights!
Arrive right at 10 AM when they open! You'll beat the crowds and get to see the sea otters when they're most active. I missed out on that because I got there later.
