Bring cash for the parking fee, as some reviews mention card machines can be finicky. Just a few bucks can save you a headache.

Don’t forget your camera but also put your phone away sometimes... Take in the beauty without the screen... I got some great pics but also missed just soaking it all in

I suggest arriving at the parking lot by 7 AM if you can. It fills up fast, and you want to snag a good spot to kick off your hike. Trust me, I learned the hard way!
Ontario Lake
Lake Huron

I recommend packing a picnic and hitting the hiking trails, but don't forget bug spray! Mosquitoes were a pesky surprise during my hike.
I think you should explore the lesser-known beaches like Kettle Point. Fewer crowds mean more space to relax and enjoy. I found it way more enjoyable than the busy ones!

I suggest checking out the local farmer's markets; they have fresh produce and unique handicrafts. I found some amazing jams and picked up some souvenirs without breaking the bank!
Lake Louise Trail
Elfin Lakes
Wedgemount Lake
Emerald Lake Trail

my advice is to take your time on the way around the lake. there are so many beautiful spots to stop and take photos, don’t rush it!
Bring layers! The weather can change fast; one moment it's sunny, the next it's chilly and windy. I learned that the hard way and was freezing at one point!

I suggest hitting the trail early, like around 7 AM, to enjoy the peacefulness and avoid the crowds – trust me, the morning light on the lake is stunning!
Moraine Lake Shoreline Trail

I think it's worth taking the longer lakeshore walk if you have extra time. The views just keep getting better, and we found some peaceful spots away from the crowds!

I suggest getting to Moraine Lake before 7 AM to snag a parking spot. It fills up quick, and we had to wait ages to find a spot on a busy weekend.

My advice is to pack snacks and water for the trail. We spent way too much at the café there—prices are pretty steep for a quick bite!
