Niagara Falls State Park

My advice is to visit during weekdays if you can. The crowds were way less on Wednesday, which meant shorter lines and a more relaxed vibe when checking out the falls.
Stanley Park

Bring snacks or a packed lunch! I found eating at the park's cafes a bit pricey. There's tons of great picnic spots and it saves you some cash. Plus, you can enjoy the scenery at your own pace!

Walking the entire seawall was exhausting! I suggest breaking it up and taking plenty of breaks. You can find nice benches with great views. My legs thanked me later!
Check out the Vancouver Aquarium – it’s pretty cool! But, my advice is to buy tickets online to skip the line. It can get super busy, especially on weekends!

If you're into art, stop by the Totem Poles – they're a must-see. But, try to go early in the morning to avoid the crowds. Trust me, the early bird gets the best photos!
Sunset Beach Park

I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks to save some cash. The beach side cafes can get pricey, and the picnicking vibe is super relaxed.

I suggest checking the tide schedule online before heading out. There’s nothing worse than showing up for a beach day just to find it’s too rocky for swimming!

I think renting bikes is a fun way to explore the park and nearby areas. Just check out the bike rental spots; they can be a bit hidden but worth it!

My advice is to visit during sunset around 7-8 PM. The views are stunning, and it’s not as crowded as during mid-day.
Banff National Park

If you can, visit Lake Louise around 7 AM. The sunrise is magical and you'll beat the crowds for those perfect photos. Trust me, you want that Insta shot!

I think it’s a good idea to buy the Parks Canada Pass in advance online. Parking can get tight, and you don’t want to waste time waiting in line for that.

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. There are some pricey cafes around, and you can save a ton by packing a picnic, plus you can eat it at the best spots!
Park Mont Royal

Pack some snacks and water, as food options are limited in the park. I regretted not bringing a picnic to enjoy on the hill! Save some cash, too.

If you're into history, look up the park's origins before you go. Knowing the stories behind the statues made my visit so much richer!

If you're going for the views, try to hit the lookout spot by 8 AM - beautiful sunrise light and way fewer folks around! Trust me, it's a quiet start to the day
Wear comfy shoes! Seriously, I underestimating the trails, and my feet were not happy by the end of the day. You’ll be doing more walking than you think.
High park

I suggest visiting the cherry blossoms in early April if you're around then. They're stunning and it makes for great photos! Just be prepared for crowds during that time.

If you have kids, the playground is awesome, but don't miss the zoo! It's small but free. I was surprised how much my kids loved seeing the animals up close.

I recommend going on a weekday if you can. Weekends get super busy and you'll spend more time searching for parking than actually enjoying the park.

Bring a picnic! There are tons of nice spots to sit and enjoy a meal, plus it's a way to save some cash. I packed snacks and saved money instead of eating at the park's vendors.
Jasper National Park Of Canada

I suggest hitting the trails early, like around 7 AM, to avoid the crowds and catch the beautiful sunrise. It was stunning when I did it!

Don’t forget layers! The weather can change quickly, and I got caught in a chilly downpour without my jacket. Bring something warm and waterproof!
If you're planning to drive, I suggest getting a Parks Canada annual pass if you intend to visit other parks. It saved me lots of cash!

My advice is to pack a lunch. Dining in the park can get pricy, and there are some amazing picnic spots with breathtaking views. I wish I had done this.
La Fontaine Park

My advice is to visit early in the morning, around 8 AM. It’s way less crowded and the park looks stunning with the sunrise filtering through the trees.

I recommend checking the weather before your visit. It rained during my trip, and I wish I'd brought an umbrella. The park is still lovely in light rain, just a bit slippery!
If you're there on a weekend, be aware of events like outdoor concerts. I stumbled onto one, and it was packed! Check the schedule online before you go to plan better.

I think it’s great to explore the little paths off the main walkways. You’ll find cozy spots and maybe even some local art installations that aren’t super touristy.
Olympique de Montreal Park

I suggest checking out the park's schedule for events before you go. You might find fun festivals or concerts happening that can really enhance your visit.

Wear comfortable shoes! The park is huge and there's a lot of walking to do, especially if you want to explore all its different areas.

Bring a picnic! The park is beautiful, and it's a great way to save money instead of eating at nearby cafés. Just remember to pack out what you pack in.
Don’t miss the Biodome! It was one of my favorite parts, but I almost overlooked it. Allocate a couple of hours for it to really enjoy
Beacon Hill Park

Bring some snacks and a blanket. My advice is to find a nice spot by the pond for a picnic. There are plenty of great places to chill and enjoy the scenery.

I suggest checking out the park's events schedule before you go. I stumbled upon a local art show that I wouldn't have known about otherwise, and it made my day!

I recommend visiting the petting zoo and the butterfly garden, they are super cute and totally worth the time! I almost missed it, but it turned out to be a highlight of the trip.
