Saltos del Laja

Look for the local vendors for snacks and drinks. Often, they're cheaper than what you'll find at main tourist spots. I saved a bit and got to try some tasty local treats

If you can, stay until sunset. The colors reflecting on the waterfalls are absolutely breathtaking. I regret rushing off too early!

Wear sturdy shoes, especially if you plan to explore the trails. I slipped a bit in my sandals and it wasn’t fun! You’ll thank yourself later.

If you're up for it, pack a picnic! There are plenty of nice spots to relax and enjoy a bite while you soak in the views - it saves you from buying overpriced cafe food.
Petrowe Waterfalls
Rio Paine Waterfall

My advice is to wear good hiking shoes. The trail can get slippery, and I really regretted wearing my old trainers – they didn’t grip well at all!

I think you should bring a light jacket even in summer. The weather can change quickly and I was caught off guard by a chill while enjoying the view!

I recommend visiting around 3 PM for the best light for photos. The sun hits the waterfall just right, making it look absolutely breathtaking.

I suggest packing some snacks and water! There are no facilities near the waterfall, and you’ll want to keep your energy up while enjoying the stunning scenery.
The Salto Grande

I suggest getting there by bus. It’s way cheaper than taxis and way parking can be tricky, plus buses run pretty frequently.

My advice is to check the weather before you go. I went on a cloudy day and missed out on some killer photo ops. Sunny mornings are the best!

I think you should visit during the week if you can. I went on a Saturday, and it felt super crowded. It’s way more enjoyable when it’s chill!
Ventisquero Colgante

I suggest you wear sturdy shoes. The hike to Ventisquero Colgante can be muddy and slippery, and trust me, slipping can ruin the moment. Also, it’s way more enjoyable when you’re comfy.

Bring a packed lunch! There are no food vendors nearby, and the views at the picnic spots are amazing. I regretted not taking my own snacks, ended up paying way too much at the nearest town.
