Tianhe Stadium

Bring a portable charger! I was snapping pics and using my maps, and my phone died just before the match. It was a bit of a pain trying to find my way back to the hotel without it!
Beijing National Stadium
Hong Kong Stadium

I think it's worth exploring the area around the stadium after the match. There are some great local food stalls just a short walk away that aren't mentioned in the travel guides.
Shenyang Olympic Sports Center Stadium
Beijing Workers' Sports Complex

If you're going during a big match, arrive at least an hour early to avoid the crazy crowds and snag a good spot. I learned that the hard way!

I recommend checking out the local food stalls nearby before or after the game. They offer some great eats that won't break the bank. You can save a ton compared to the stadium prices
Hefei Olympic Sports Center Stadium

I suggest you arrive about 30 minutes before the event starts. It really helped me find my seat without the mad rush, and you can soak up the buzz before the game begins! Plus, it gives you time to grab a snack.

Definitely check if there are any local events or matches happening on the day you visit. I stumbled upon a mini-football tournament which was a lot of fun to watch!

My advice is to check out the local food vendors outside the stadium. I saved a decent amount by eating there instead of inside, and the food was just as good—definitely a lot more authentic too!
Wuhan Sports Center Stadium
Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium

I think you should bring some snacks and water. The food stalls inside are super pricey and not worth it. I ended up spending way too much on a drink that was basically tap water!

I suggest visiting during the week instead of weekends if you can. It was way less crowded then, and we got better pics without random heads popping in the way. Plus, it felt more chill overall!
Shanghai Stadium
Guangdong Olympic Stadium

I recommend checking the event schedule online before you go. I went on a day with no games, and it was a bummer. If there's a match, grab your tickets ahead of time to save money!

My advice is to take public transport if you can... The metro is super convenient and saves you from parking headaches and costs! I took a taxi, and it was pretty pricey and chaotic
