Sky Adventures Arenal Park
I suggest wearing sunscreen even on cloudy days. I didn't think I'd need it, but ended up looking like a lobster after the tour!
I highly recommend making your zip line reservations online before you go. It saves time and sometimes you even get a discount. I snagged a great deal that way.
Bring your own GoPro or action camera! The staff will help you strap it on, and it saved me from shelling out extra cash for their video package.
Sky Adventures Monteverde Park
I think packing some snacks and water is a good idea. The park has places to eat, but sometimes it takes time to grab food in between activities, so better be safe!
My advice is to wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. I wore sandals, and it was a bit of a hassle on the trails.
Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park
Try to get there around 8 AM when the park opens. The morning fog adds a magical touch and you'll avoid the crowds.
Don't skip the interpretation center before entering the trails. It gives great insights about the flora and fauna - so worth it!
If you want to save some money, eat at nearby local sodas instead of the park's restaurant. You'll find tastier and cheaper options!
Monteverde Extremo Park
My advice is to book your tickets online in advance. I saved some cash this way and avoided the ticket line, which could take a while during peak hours.
Arenal Mundo Aventura Park
I suggest getting there right when the park opens at 8 AM. It gets super busy later, especially for zip lining, and you'll have more time to enjoy everything without the crowds.
My advice is to bring some snacks or a packed lunch. The food inside can be a bit pricey and not worth it, plus there are nice spots to chill and eat in nature!
