Arenal Hanging Bridges Hike
Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve Hike
My advice is to pack a picnic lunch. There are plenty of great spots to chill and enjoy the scenery without spending a fortune at the cafe.
Nocturnal Jungle Walk
La Fortuna Waterfall Hike
Don't rush to the waterfall! Take your time to enjoy the scenery and snap some pics on the way down. It's just as beautiful as the waterfall itself.
Arenal Volcano National Park
Watch out for the weather! Mornings can be great but I had a downpour in the afternoon. Bring a poncho just in case; it’ll save you from getting soaked!
Bajos del Toro Waterfall Hike
Get there around 7 AM! The early morning light makes the waterfall look stunning, plus you’ll avoid the crowds and have the trails pretty much to yourself.
If you can, download a GPS map beforehand. Cell service is spotty out there, and I lost my way a bit. A map really saved my hike!
Manuel Antonio National Park Hike
Bring your own snacks and water! The park’s food stands are pricey and the food isn’t the best. I spent way too much on a mediocre sandwich
