Definitely wear sunscreen and a hat! The sun can be pretty intense, especially in the afternoon. My friend burned like a lobster because she forgot to apply!

I suggest bringing some snacks and water. There aren’t many places to grab a bite nearby, and you'll want to spend your time enjoying the sculpture instead of wandering off in search of food.
The Bolshoi Theater of Havana

I suggest checking the performance schedule online before you go. I missed a show that was right up my alley because I didn't plan ahead!

My advice is to grab a seat towards the back of the theater. The view was still amazing, and I scored a better price than those upfront.
Mausoleum of Che Guevara

My advice is to take some time to explore the surrounding Parque Leoncio Vidal. It has great places to grab a snack, so you don't end up spending too much on overpriced food inside.

I suggest going around 4 PM for a more quiet experience. The crowds start to thin out, and the lighting for photos is pretty nice too!

If you plan on taking photos, be ready for strict guards! I didn't know this and almost got my camera taken away for snapping too many shots. Just be respectful and you'll be fine.
Havana Cathedral
Museum of the Revolution
Don't skip the rooftop terrace. It provides a fantastic view of the city and some great photo ops, plus it’s a nice spot to relax for a bit.

I recommend visiting on a weekday morning around 10 AM. The crowds were much lighter and I was able to take my time without feeling rushed
La Fuerza

Take a stroll around the surrounding area after your visit. There are some charming little spots and local vendors worth checking out.

If you can, buy your tickets online to skip the line. I wasted about 30 minutes waiting when I could have been exploring.

I recommend checking out the view from the top of the fortress around sunset. It’s stunning and perfect for photos!
Fusterlandia

I recommend checking out the smaller art nooks and corners—you'll stumble upon some hidden gems that the big installations don’t showcase. Spend an extra hour exploring! It’s totally worth it. Just keep an eye out for the little details and local crafts, they’re super unique.
Jose Marti Memorial
I suggest visiting in the morning around 9 am... It’s way less crowded then, and you can take your time exploring without rushing

My advice is to bring some snacks and water. There aren’t many places nearby to grab a bite, and it can save you some cash.
