National Museum

I really enjoyed the cafe on the top floor. Grab a coffee and take a moment to enjoy the view of the city before diving back into exhibits!

My advice is to get the combined ticket that covers other museums nearby. It saves you a few bucks if you plan to visit multiple places.

If you’re short on time, focus on the main exhibits on the upper floors first. The natural history section was amazing but took longer than I expected!

Don’t miss the museum shop; they have fantastic local crafts and books. It's a great place to find unique souvenirs to remember your trip.
National Technical Museum

Don't skip the rooftop terrace! My advice is to check it out at some point during your visit. The view of Prague is surprisingly great and a nice break from all the tech stuff.

Check for temporary exhibitions. When I visited, there was a cool one on the history of film tech that wasn't widely publicized and really impressed me. It was the highlight of my trip!

I recommend getting there right when it opens at 9 AM. The crowd is way lighter, and you can enjoy the exhibits without feeling rushed. Plus, parking is easier at that hour!

bring a little snack or drink if you can. the café has decent food, but it can feel pricey for what you get. i suggest grabbing something outside before heading in
Skoda Auto Museum

My advice is to take the audio guide if you're into details. It makes the whole experience a lot richer and honestly, I learned so much more about the history than just reading the placards

I suggest you get there right when it opens at 9 AM. Trust me, the crowds build up fast, and you want to have a leisurely stroll through the exhibits without all the noise.
Wallachian Open Air Museum
Lobkowicz Palace

Try to get there right when it opens at 9 AM. The crowds build up quickly, and you'll have a much more peaceful experience exploring the art and history
The Museum of Sex Devices

Take your time reading the descriptions. I sped through and missed some pretty funny and interesting facts! Plan for at least an hour if you want to soak it all in.

If you can, visit on a weekday around 2 PM. There were way fewer people, and I could really take my time with the exhibits. Plus, it made for cooler pictures!

I recommend wearing comfy shoes! There are a few stairs and you'll want to wander around without feeling tired. Trust me, you'll thank yourself later!

I suggest checking for any discounts online before you go. I got a student discount that I didn't know about and it felt like a score!
Grevin Museum
Museum of Senses

I recommend to buy your tickets online ahead of time. It saved me a good 20 minutes at the entrance since there was a line when I got there.

My advice is to take some time to read the descriptions of the exhibits. I rushed through them and missed a lot of cool info that would have made my experience richer.
The Museum of Communism

I suggest not rushing through the exhibits. Take your time reading the stories and looking at the artifacts. I missed some cool stuff because I was too focused on moving along!

My advice is to grab a discount ticket from your hotel or check online deals. I saved a few bucks, and every bit helps when travelling!

I think it's best to visit mid-afternoon, around 2 PM, when the crowds thin out. It was way easier to explore the exhibits and take photos without bumping into tons of people.
Lego Museum
I recommend checking for any special exhibits or events before you go, like the one I stumbled upon that featured rare sets... It made the visit way more exciting

I think visiting around 10 AM is key. The crowds started rolling in around noon, so the earlier, the better for snapping those awesome photos without too many people!

If you're a fan of building, I suggest bringing your own Lego pieces. There’s an area to build, and it can be a blast to create something with what you have!

My advice is to buy tickets online ahead of time. I didn't, and we ended up waiting in line longer than I expected. Save yourself some time!
