Museums in Denmark:
Old town
Louisiana
Make sure to grab a coffee at the café—it's not overpriced, and the pastries are super tasty! I regretted not trying something there earlier.
Glyptotek Nu Carlsberg
Definitely get the guided audio tour; it adds so much context to the art without feeling overwhelming. I think it really brought the pieces to life for me!
New Carlsberg Glyptotek
Aros
Frederiksborg
If you're into photography, don't rush your visit! I took my time wandering through the gardens, and I found some unique spots for pictures that few others seemed to notice.
I suggest getting to Frederiksborg early, like around 9 AM. The castle opens at 10, but the gardens are stunning and much quieter in the morning. Trust me, the photos are way better without the crowds!
Moesgaard Museum
My tip is to check out their temporary exhibitions too. I saw one that was only on for a short time, and it was totally worth it!
My advice is to visit on a Tuesday or Wednesday. It was less crowded when I went, and I really enjoyed the peace and quiet while exploring the museum!
National Museum of Denmark
Designmuseum Denmark
State Museum of Arts
Make sure to grab the museum map at the entrance. It highlights special exhibitions and lesser-known pieces, which helped me make the most of my time there without wandering aimlessly.
