Amager Beach

Get there early around 9 AM to snag a good spot, especially on weekends. It fills up fast, and finding a nice spot can save you time looking for a place to relax.

If you're looking to swim, the water can be chilly, so a wetsuit isn't a bad idea in the cooler months. I regretted not having one; it wasn’t swim-friendly for me.

Check the tide schedules before you go. The beach can look totally different at high tide, which can be a letdown if you were expecting a sandy stretch.
Langelinium

I think the best time to see the flowers in bloom is in late May. If you get the timing right, the park looks absolutely stunning with all the colors!

My advice is to check out the little boat rentals. It’s a small extra cost, but getting on the water offers such a unique experience of the park. Don't miss it!

Grab a map when you enter the park. It's easy to get lost with all the beautiful paths and gardens if you're not paying attention.

I recommend visiting around 10 AM on weekdays, it's usually much quieter then and you can really soak in the atmosphere without the crowds
Royal Garden
Copenhagen ZOO

Definitely pack a picnic! The food inside is tasty but pricey. I spent a small fortune on lunch last time, just felt super unnecessary!

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. You'll be doing a lot of walking, and trust me, you don't want to deal with sore feet halfway through the zoo
National Aquarium Denmark
Randers Regnskov
Felledpark

Check out the park map at the entrance. It sounds super basic but it really helped me find the coolest spots without wandering aimlessly for too long. Saves time for more fun!

If you’re into photography, I recommend heading to the park around 4 PM for the golden hour lighting. The sunset views are stunning and will make your photos pop!

Make sure to bring a blanket and some snacks! The park is super chill for a picnic, and it's a great way to enjoy some local food without spending a fortune on overpriced cafes.
Ree Park Safari

I recommend checking out the animal feeding times! I missed one and it was such a bummer. Those moments are really special and perfect for photos!

I suggest wearing comfy shoes because you'll be walking quite a bit. Some paths can be uneven, which makes flip-flops a no-go if you want to avoid sore feet

My advice is to bring your own snacks and water. The prices at the cafes are kinda steep, and there are plenty of lovely spots to sit and munch on your own treats.
I think getting there right when it opens at 10 AM is the best move! The animals are super active in the morning and it's way less crowded, so you can enjoy a peaceful stroll.
