My advice is to rent gear instead of bringing your own if you're flying. The rental prices are pretty affordable, and the equipment is in great shape. Totally saved me the hassle.

Make sure to check the wind forecast before you go! I didn't, and there were a couple of days when the conditions were terrible. The team will help you reschedule or find other activities, which is cool.

I think visiting in the mornings is the best. The wind is usually lighter and perfect for beginners. I went in the afternoon once, and it was super tough with stronger winds. Not fun!
