Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration

Bring some water and snacks. There's not much around, and you'll want to stay hydrated while exploring the monument and surrounding areas

I recommend taking a guided tour if you can. You’ll get all the cool historical info that makes the place more meaningful. I wish I had done that!

If you're on a budget, check for free local events or exhibitions that might be happening. I stumbled upon one that made my visit way more interesting!

Parking can be tricky. Arrive a bit early to find a good spot or consider using public transport. I didn’t and ended walking a lot back and forth!
Leon Jimenez Cultural Center

grab a bite at the local food stalls nearby before or after your visit – great way to save money and the food is delicious!

Don't miss the gift shop! Some unique local crafts you won't find elsewhere and good prices too
Cathedral
Columbus Lighthouse
National Pantheon
Alcazar de Colon
Mundo King Art Museum

I recommend visiting on a weekday if you can! It was way less crowded, and I could take my time enjoying the art. Plus, you might get better photo ops without random people in the background
