El Pailon Del Diablo

I recommend bringing a waterproof bag if you want to take photos near the waterfall. You'll definitely get splashed and protecting your phone or camera is a must for capturing the moment!

Don't skip the hike down to the waterfall—it's totally worth it. The views are amazing and you get to experience the lush scenery up close. Just be prepared for some steep stairs on the way back up.

Consider visiting during the weekdays if you can. I went on a Saturday, and it was pretty crowded. The quieter atmosphere makes a big difference when you want to enjoy nature!
San Rafael Waterfall
Waterfall and Cunuyacu Hot Springs

i really enjoyed the hot springs, but i recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks. the food options there were pretty pricey, and having some snacks saved me a lot of money

Plan to visit the waterfall in the early morning, like around 8 AM. The light was perfect for photos and the crowds were minimal, making it a more peaceful experience.
